The top is designed to be easily adjusted to a larger or smaller size. You can extend it into a dress, crochet it as a beach cover-up, or even omit the central seam to create a stylish vest.

The construction of the top begins with crocheting squares. Each square has a beautiful, airy lace appearance that is also opaque enough to keep the front panel filled and prevent bras from showing through.
The squares are then joined into two equally sized and long strips, forming the right and left parts of both the front and back.

Subsequently, these strips are sewn together in the middle, creating a neckline on both the front and back, and the sides of the top are crocheted with an airy V-stitch pattern.
Finally, the bottom part is finished, crocheted with a similar V-stitch pattern as the sides.

In the first part, we will crochet a square, or rather, several squares. I crocheted 12 squares.

So let me now get started and tell you what you will need in order to crochet this LASIE SUMMER TOP.

This Top is fun and quick to make.

This easy-to-fit make and memorize pattern. 

You can easily change the sizing by making the Top smaller or bigger just by making less or more rows.

Lasie: 50 g / 150 m / 95 % bavlna + 5 % lurex

PATTERN NOTES

• The crocheted top - size - is for women's size M.
• The top has a classic fit, designed to be worn loosely. It is crocheted as a simple classic top with a length slightly below the waist.
• It can also be crocheted shorter, as a crop top, or longer, over the hips as a tunic or mini dress.
• The top is suitable for year-round wear, a timeless piece for your wardrobe.
• Before you begin, measure your height and body circumference (see final dimensions will be given below).
• This pattern is for a MEDIUM women's size, but you can easily adapt it to a smaller or larger size by adjusting the number of squares or by simply increasing or decreasing the length of the sides and bottom.
• Remember that when making the top larger, you will need more yarn.
• The top is crocheted from the center of the front and back, first the squares and then we crochet in rows. You can try on the top and adjust the size as needed.
• The chain at the beginning of the row does not count as a stitch throughout the project.
• 2 chains at the beginning of the row count as a half double crochet
• 3 chains at the beginning of the row count as a double crochet
• 4 chains at the beginning of the row count as a treble crochet
• Dimensions: *Measurements are taken from the garment lying flat, before the yarn has stretched out/dropped.
