Crochet EASY SUMMER Cheerful Sweater Lollipop

Who likes to crochet simple summer tops, tunics, sweaters or beach covers?
With summer approaching, I am really enjoying these crocheted summer models.
In this tutorial, I have prepared for you a super easy and simple tutorial for a summer sweater with an airy stitches, which can be perfectly resize to any size and any style.
This sweater is rather oversized, and is also wonderfully comfortable to wear thanks to the amazing Royal cotton Lollipop yarn.
If you're looking for a tutorial for an easy crochet sweater, tank top, or beach coverup with super easy construction and a simple pattern for complete beginners, then you've come to the right place.
It's also very easy to size it up or down, so you'll be able to easily crochet a sweater for anyone who wants such a great cheerful piece for Spring or Summer!
This crocheted sweater is made from the wonderful LOLLIPOP yarn - a very soft cotton yarn with many cheerful colors.
I hope you will enjoy crocheting and wearing this simple sweater from the spring to fall season.
The sweater has an easy construction, it has a basic shape made with 3 rectangles - 2 front panels and 1 back panel, the sleeves are also long rectangles directly crocheted onto the sweater, it's very easy to resize.
The pattern is made up with double crochet stitches and trebles.
In the instructions below, you will find the written pattern for free for the girls size, but you can easily change and size it up or down - lengthen, widen or shorten or narrow it. There is no special shaping in the instructions, so it is absolutely ideal for very beginners.

So let me now get started and tell you what you will need in order to crochet this amazing CROCHET EASY CHEERFUL SUMMER SWEATER LOLLIPOP.
This CROCHET EASY CHEERFUL SUMMER SWEATER LOLLIPOP is very fun and quick to make.
The pattern uses only basic crochet stitches - double crochets and trebles and chains.
This easy-to-fit SWEATER LOLLIPOP is really a crocheter's dream, made with the airy stitches, is worked in rows.
Size: girls - 10 years
This can easily be adapted to a smaller size or bigger size just by reducing or increasing the number of chains and rows for the coat and as well as making less or more chains in the basic chain.
It’s crocheted with only double and treble stitches.
The EASY CHEERFUL SUMMER SWEATER LOLLIPOP is crocheted with soft cosy cotton yarn.
ICE YARNS COTTON ROYAL LOLLIPOP
100g / 210 m / 100 % cotton

Recommended Hook: 4 mm
The yarn is very nice and so soft.
For this girls size you will need only 2 skeins
Colors:
one color
Scissors and tapestry needle
Difficulty Level: Level 1 – Easy, for beginners
US crochet terms:
SlSt – slip stitch
CH/s – chain/s
SC - single crochet
DC - double crochet
TR - treble
SK - skip
T - turn
ST/s - stitch(es)
REP - repeat
YO – yarn over
CROCHET EASY CHEERFUL SUMMER SWEATER LOLLIPOP
PATTERN NOTES
1) Before you start take a measurement, I would recommend to determine the width of your sweater. If you want to have your sweater wider, make a longer foundation chain at the beginning of front / back panel. If you want to have your sweater narrower, make a shorter foundation chain at the beginning of front / back panel.
2) This pattern is for Girls size, but you can easily adapt to a smaller size or bigger size just by reducing or increasing the number of chains and rows for the Sweater and as well as making less or more chains in the basic chain.
3) A ch2 at beg of the row COUNTS as a stitch.
4) A ch3 at beg of the row/round COUNTS as a stitch.
4) The SWEATER measures:
length: 50 cm / width 38 cm
back panel
length: 50 cm / width 38 cm
shoulders: 7 cm
*Measurements are taken from the garment lying flat, before the yarn has stretched out/dropped.
5) The Sweater is worked in 3 basic pieces:

THE WRITTEN PATTERN
Work in rows, turn your work when your finish row
The same crochet hook, the same yarn.
Ch3 at beg of row = 1dc
RECTANGLE
Crochet Hook 4.00 mm.
Make a slip knot and chain foundation chain.
58ch (38 cm / 15 inch)
R1: ch2 (dc), 1dc in 3rd ch from crochet hook, 1dc in each ch till end of row, turn (59 dc)
R2: 3ch (tr), repeat (ch1, skip 1 st, 1 tr in next st) till end of row, turn (29 ch spaces)
R3: 3ch (tr), repeat (ch1, skip ch1, 1 tr in next st) till end of row, turn (29 ch spaces)
R4 - R22: Repeat (21 rows of trebles)
Last row – work on the right side, right side is facing you!
R23: ch2, 1dc in each ch and in each dc in row (59 dc)
Fasten off your work and hide all loose tails and you are all done with your front panel
Let’s make a back panel: repeat the instructions and make the same panel.
Join the front and back panel on sides and on shoulders:
Join your sweater with slip stitches.
Join the sweater so that the right sides are facing each other (inside).
Join the wrong sides together.
On the sides, we sew 15 rows from the bottom up, leaving 8 rows unjoined - in this place we crochet the sleeve later.
Join stitch to stich.
Join the shoulders, from the corner of the back panel sew the front panel towards the center, I sew the first 13 rows, row to row, then skip 33 rows in the middle and continue to sew the front and back panels and again 13 rows until the end to the corner of the back panel.
SLEEVE
Re-join the new yarn on side where is the seam of the front and the back panel.
Work in the same pattern.
Crochet in closed rounds, close the round with a slip stitch placed in the top of the first st (ch3).
Turn your work when you finish each row.
R1: ch3 (1 tr), repeat (ch1, 1 tr in next st) evenly 11x working up to the seam. Work 1 tr in the seam.
Then the same pattern evenly 11x working down. Sl st in 3rd ch from beg. Close the round, turn (22 ch spaces).
R2: 3ch (tr), repeat (ch1, skip ch1, 1 tr in next st) till end of row. Sl st in 3rd ch from beg. Close the round, turn (22 ch spaces).
R3 - R17: Repeat R2
Last row – work on the right side, right side is facing you!
R18: ch2, 1dc in each ch and in each dc in row (45 dc)
Fasten off your work and hide all loose tails and you are all done with your sleeve.
Let’s make the second sleeve: repeat the instructions and make the sleeve on the opposite side.
