This scrappy neon beanie pattern was created with two purposes in mind… One, to use up some of the partial skeins of yarn sitting around the house and two, to create an unmissable beanie for mountains trip. It is both a scrappy and neon beanie.

Scrappy Neon Beanie Directions

Size: man size, this can easily be adapted to a smaller size or bigger size just by reducing or increasing the number of stitches in the first row and as well as making less or more rows for the beanie.

For this man size you will need 3 colours - use some scrappy yarn balls!
I used a mix of Red Heart Soft (color A - pink), Read Heart (colour B - green), Vlna Hep (colour C - yellow)
Try to choose yarns that are medium weight or 3 numbers.

For this pattern you will need 5.00 mm crochet hook.

Difficulty Level: Level 1 – very easy for ultimate beginners

US crochet term:

SlSt – slip stitch
CH/s – chain/s
SC – single crochet
HDC - half double crochet
ST/s - stitch(es)
REP - repeat

Pattern Notes

1) This pattern are for man size can easily be adapted to a smaller size or bigger size just by reducing or increasing the numbers of stitches and as well as less or more numbers of rows. Remember that when making bigger beanie size, you will need more yarn.

2) This Beanie is crocheted in rounds from the top down using half double crochets and single crochet for the ending.

2) A Ch 1 at beg of the row doesn't count as a stitch.
