Crochet Cosy Furry Slipper Booties

Hello My Crochet Friends!

Fall is setting in and it’s time to make all the warm and cozy things, especially for lounging around at home. I don’t know about you, but I am often cold so I love having different things to snuggle up in.

In this my new pattern, I wanted to share with you my favorite furry cosy easy-to-make slipper booties.

These crochet cosy slipper booties are so comfortable and easier to make than you think. They are also incredibly easy to size up or down, so you will be able to make a pair for anyone who wants some.

These crochet cosy slippers are made with velvet chenille yarn and with Furry yarn and they are cozy enough to call your favorite pair of crochet slipper booties.

Because of the way these slippers are constructed, they are very easy to resize. I am including Women size and you can easily change the sizing by making the slippers longer or shorter. There is no complicated increasing, decreasing or shaping. Easy, easy!

It's a fantastic piece for yourself or as a gift. Try this wonderful design for cosy slippers to make a great piece for yourself or for your friends & family!

So let’s dive right into it!

So let me now get started and tell you what you will need in order to crochet these amazing CROCHET COSY FURRY SLIPPER BOOTIES.

These CROCHET COSY FURRY SLIPPER BOOTIES are very fun and quick to make.

The pattern uses only basic crochet stitches - single crochets stitches.

These easy-to-fit slippers are a crocheter's dream, made with the pretty stitch pattern with single crochet stitches, are worked in rounds and rows.

It’s crocheted with only single crochet stitches.
The slipper booties are crocheted with cosy velvet chenille yarn Samet Soft
and with fun furry yarn Panda.

A = light grey

Samet Soft - 100g / 100 m / 100 % polyester, chenille

I really like the Velvet Soft yarn, they are pleasant and cosy, wonderful to work with and the crocheted products are amazingly soft.

I choose some of tutorials made with this yarn:

Panda: 100 g / 66 m / 100 % polyester, shaggy furry

Luxurious, incredibly soft yarn faithfully imitating fur. It is ideal for use on knitted scarves, shawls, hats or decorative edgings.

Color B - mottled light-dark gray

You will need 1 ball of this wonderful velvety yarn Samet Soft and half a ball of Panda yarn for women's size 39 booties.

Scissors and tapestry needle

Crochet hook: 5.0 mm

Difficulty Level: Level 1 – Easy, for beginners

US crochet terms:

SlSt – slip stitch
CH/s – chain/s

SC - single crochet
SK - skip
T - turn
ST/s - stitch(es)
REP - repeat
YO – yarn over

1) Before you start take a measurement of length of your leg from big toe to heel and a leg circumference (please see the final measurement of the slipper booties below).

2) This pattern is for Medium Woman size, but you can easily adapt to a smaller size or bigger size.

There are 3 parts:

1) from big toe to leg
2) from leg to heel
3) border

Make the first part of slipper (working in rounds) bigger or smaller just by reducing or increasing the number of stitches in rounds.

Make the second part of slipper (working in rows) bigger or smaller just by reducing or increasing the number of rows.

Make the third part of slipper booties shorter or longer just by reducing or increasing the number of rows.

3) A ch1 at beg of the round DOESN'T count as a stitch throughout.

4) The Slipper measures: 27 cm /10.5 inch (length), 25 cm / 9.8 inch (width), 11 cm / 4.3 (leg hem)

*Measurements are taken from the garment lying flat, before the yarn has stretched out/dropped.

5) The Slipper is worked in one piece, in spiral rounds and then in rows, back and forth, from tip to heel.

work in spiral rounds

ch1 at the beginning of round don't count as a stitch.

make a magic ring

R1: ch1, 8 sc in magic ring (8 sc)

R2: 2 sc in each st around (16 sc)

R3: *1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st* repeat from * to * till end of round (24 sc)

R4: *1 sc in next 5 st, 2 sc in next st* repeat from * to * till end of round (28 sc)

R5 - R19: 1 sc in each st around (28 sc)

This part measures:

18 cm / 7 inch (length) // 26 cm / 10 inch (circumference)

Work in rows, turn your work when your finish row
ch1 at the beginning of round don't count as a stitch.

Color A

R20: ch1, 1sc in next 18 st, sk last 10 st, turn (18 sc)

R21-R30: ch1, 1sc in each st around, till end of row, turn (18 sc)

For Medium Woman size I made 11 rows.

Join sides

Fold your work in half and bring both ends together. Join the sides slip to slip by slip stitches.

Now that your slipper is assembled you will hide all loose tails in the wrong side of your work and turn it right side facing you and let's make a border.

Lay the SLIPPER out in front of you. Place SLIPPER with right side up, right side facing you.

With yarn color B and hook you will now make a border around the PART 2, making sure the right side up.

Remember not to make your stitches too tight and not too loose.

Start at the seam, re-join the new yarn.

R1: ch1, work 1sc evenly, when you reach the corner join both corner stitches, then work 1sc in next 8 st, join next 2 corner stitches together and work sc evenly till end of row.

I made 30 sc in total.

R2 - R5: 1sc in each st around

Color C, Yarn PANDA

R6 - R10: 1sc in each st around

Now you will hide all loose tails in the wrong side of your work and turn it right side facing you and you are all done my friends.
